Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Institutes for Advanced Study (UTIAS)

In line with “Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Action Scenario,” the University of Tokyo Institutes for Advanced Study (UTIAS) was established on January 1, 2011, as a University-wide organization to enhance the University’s academic excellence and further internationalize its general research environment. UTIAS will actively promote Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s world-class research and strive for its application to the benefit of society.

This organization is currently comprised of four institutes: the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU), the International Research Center for Neurointelligence (IRCN), Tokyo College and The University of TOkyo Pandemic preparedness, Infection and Advanced research center (UTOPIA).
