‘Value Creation for Sustainability through Nature and Biodiversity’
¡öPurpose of the Symposium
Amid shifting global geopolitical circumstances, the sustainability of nations and regions is reaching a major turning point. Against this backdrop, nature and biodiversity represent valuable regional assets that can be recognised as key contributors to sustainability within major trends such as energy and climate change.
This symposium will examine the value of nature and biodiversity as valuable assets for nations and regions. It will also highlight examples from Europe where biodiversity is contributing to value creation in the business sector, and discuss the role of nature and biodiversity in national and regional sustainability.
